My son, born at Allahabad, has been among the most sincere, honest, bold, meritorious and loved students since his early pre-school & class one in St. Andrews School, Allahabad, then in class II at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Salt Lake I, thereafter from class III to XII at St. Joans School, Salt Lake. He was among the toppers in his X as well as XII exams. He completed BSc (Hons) in Botany from Scottish Church College (SCC) Kolkata as first class first /topper claiming all the four medals. He was quite regular in College functions, choirs, easily mixed and interacted with students & faculty of English & other science departments. His wholehearted emergency time presence of mind and pro-active initiatives during a severe natural disaster en route and in the midst of College educational tour to North Bengal/North East, was overwhelmingly welcomed and appreciated not only by all those who were stranded but also by their relatives in Kolkata and SCC. He has been involved in creative, musical and philanthropic activities for the past several years. He obtained his Master s degree in Botany from BHU; & subsequently MBA (through CAT) in Financial Marketing from IMS, BHU. While at BHU, he got associated with the Art of Living s social and philanthropic activities as a Volunteer since 2014 & had not only made design and lay out of a live programme of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar s aboard a specially decorated vessel in the river Ganges at Varanasi during his BHU stint, but also accompanied the Guruji during the entire entourage. My wife and son, both do meditations and yoga every day, while I do certain free hand exercises for the purpose of physical fitness. My son, who works as an Analyst in a Pvt organisation is now posted /lives in Bangalore. He loves, reading good books, photography, music, plays Guitar & Keyboard since childhood. He also makes special dishes, brownies, etc on occasions. His childhood, school, college and university friends are still in close touch, treated just like our own children, and so do their parents treat him.
