I am creating this profile on my behalf of my daughter, and in her own words:
Hi everyone. My name is Samhita. My family and I live in Chennai, and I practice as a speech-language pathologist. Although I was born in India, I was raised in the US and completed my schooling and my undergraduate education there, before moving to India in 2016. I am settled down in India for good, with the goal of starting my own school for children with special needs. I have completed a training program for Montessori teachers and now working as a Montessori teacher since July 2022, which I believe will help me towards my goal
Although I'm a US citizen, I have no intention of ever moving abroad. Best way to describe me? Compassionate, friendly, talkative, and a huge dog-lover. I love dancing (pretty much defines me as a person), listening to music, watching movies/ TV shows, hiking, traveling, etc. I am a Bharatanatyam dancer to be specific, and I also play Western violin, and have dabbled in Carnatic style violin as well.
My family and I are ardent devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba and are deeply, spiritually, connected to our Guru and to her ashram, located on the outskirts of Chennai.
From her parents: Samhita is a compassionate, service-minded, and ambitious girl who has a clear head on her shoulders and has her priorities clear. She has chosen to stay back in India to pursue her calling to help educate economically weaker children, especially with special needs. She wants to start a school for these children, close to our Gurus ashram, which as said before, is on the outskirts of Chennai. As parents, all we truly want is for someone to be supportive of her dream and endeavors.
My name is Shrivarsha and I am working as a Manager Operation in my Father's Business set up . I have completed my MBA.from University of Pennsylvania USA. I have been raised up in a Upper Middle Class, Nuclear Family with Moderate Values.
