Mallika did her schooling in Shishya, Chennai. We then relocated, as a family, to the UK where Mallika did her A Levels from The Cheltenham Ladies Collge and her undergrad and postgrad in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bath. She is, however, a professional equestrienne. She rides, trains, competes, and breeds dressage horses. Another thing that Mallika is passionate about is Carnatic music. She is a vocalist under the guidance of Vidushi Jayanthi Kumaresh and her senior disciple. She is also an avid reader.
We are a close and tight knit family. While having knowledge of our traditions we are liberal in our views and have encouraged our daughter to be strong and independent and pursue her dreams.
