Dhuruv is working as a Corporate Actuarial Analyst in Bangalore in a Swiss MNC. He is of a cool and easy going nature and has an outgoing and friendly disposition. He is a gregarious and avid follower of all sports, especially cricket. He was selected as a volunteer for ICC world cup at Lords.

Dhuruv was born and brought up in Hyderabad and completed his post grad in Actuarial Science from University of Madras.
We are an upper middle class family and hold our traditional values with a modern outlook. We are easy to get along as a family. We are basically from Chennai and our roots go back to Kumbakonam. Both my wife and I are settled in Hyderabad and have a flat there. I retired as a Professor in a Central University and hold a Ph.D degree, and my wife (M.Phil) worked in Delhi Public School.
We parents enjoy listening to Carnatic music and are voracious readers of all books. We also regard marriage as relationship between families and can expect daughter-in-law to be treated like our daughter.
In my view, marriage is not something that binds a person, but it is that which opens up possibilities. So, I'd rather wait for the right person for life than just getting married for the sake of ticking another box in the checklist.
Rather than like minded, I'm looking for like hearted partner. Because I believe, wider the point of views are, higher the possibility to evolve as a human being.

Apart from everything that's written on top, I'm highly spiritual, non religious and a great lover of arts (esp Indian classical) and sports of all forms. I sketch, write cryptic poetry and play football during free time.
