Swami here. To tell about myself, I will probably be doing Ph.D. for next one year at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA. So, someone who would be willing to move to Houston at least for a year or so, would be great. Of course, no one should sacrifice their career ambitions for my sake. So please consider if you can do what you would like to do in Houston. I would support my spouse in whatever she wants to do. If someone wants to come to Houston and pursue a course, I can take care of living expenses, but tuition fee may or may not be possible with my Ph.D. stipend . But we can work together to find ways to make that happen.
I get 32000 USD per year and I anticipate that I can manage the expenses of two people in Houston. With my stipend, two people can live an upper middle-class life, not a luxurious life. I have lived a middle-class life all throughout and I am very happy with my life. I am on F1 student visa which means my spouse cannot work if she is dependent on my visa.
