Travel is my passion, and I guess that is because I was born and raised in a family that celebrates our dual heritage from Telangana as well as Maharashtra. I immerse myself in the local vibe, local food, people and cuisine. I remember every little detail even for a 10 year old trip.

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Moorpark, which is a 2 hour drive northwest of Los Angeles. Growing up, I played basketball and soccer and represented my school in tennis. I am fairly good at playing drums and tabla. During high school years, I volunteered at the local hospital because my long-term interest was in the medical/health care field. I continued this volunteer activity while in college as well and got my B.S. in Biology. After graduation, the university affiliated hospital extended me a job offer in their laboratory where I worked for a short while before taking up a position in a biotech company. On the side, I started a health nutrition products related distribution business and was actively associated with the motion picture and commercials industry in different capacities. These part-time pursuits enabled me to apply my creative aptitudes and explore their long-term value potential. I purchased a nice home in an upscale neighborhood and got my MBA in healthcare administration. I had a 4.0 out of 4.0 grade point average and was honored as Distinguished Scholar.
A few years back an opportunity presented itself and I made a transition from employment in the private laboratory going into the government aligned career where I have oversight over laboratories spread throughout the state. I work for the Inspector General Office of the State of Kentucky and in conjunction with the Federal government administer the operational compliance of some three hundred laboratories within the state. This career offers multiple opportunities that I can pursue to fulfill my fundamental desire to improve and uplift the healthcare system, not only for the state but for the entire nation, in the future. I discontinued my other side ventures so that I can stay focused on my primary priorities.
