Our son, Gautam, finished his Ph. D. in Astro Physics at Penn State University in April 2023. He has now moved to Lausanne, Switzerland as a postdocotoral scientist at EPFL. He is an accomplished carnatic vocalist (has given full fledged concerts in the US and India). He is also a concert level Western Classical Piano player. He loves outdoor activities like hiking and biking and goes on long and strenuous hikes over the weekend. He just completed hiking the Appalachian trail (2198 miles in 98 days). He is a vegetarian. We are a close knit, highly educated family and looking for an educated, loving daughter in law. We are Senkottai Iyers who migrated from Tamilnadu to Karnataka a few generations ago.

I moved to New York in 2020 after spending 6 years in Israel (for PhD and Postdoc) and 2 years in France (for masters).
I am currently visiting Bangalore till May 4, 2024. I plan to move back permanently to Bangalore in 2 years.
