He completed his B.E in Civil Engineering from CEG, Anna University and then went on to complete his Masters in Construction Management & Technology from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. He then was employed with a construction consulting firm Turner & Townsend in San Francisco for 2 years.
