My son Anand Balakrishnan is a professional badminton player who is aiming to represent India at top events across the world. He currently is based out of Bengaluru and also heads the athlete management vertical at an Non profit organisation called GoSports foundation.
He has completed his Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation under Anna University and passed out as the Best outgoing student in his college. Further to that he finished his MBA in Communication management from Symbiosis International University, Pune & has been part of GoSports foundation for the last 5 years in managerial and leadership roles.
He appreciates and enjoys all kinds of art form and involves himself in quite a few including dancing, theatre plays and writing. Apart from being an elite level athlete he is deeply aligned towards social entrepreneurship and is keen on making a positive impact on the society through sports.
He is a good listener and is level headed with a happy going approach to life but being empathetic towards others as well.
