Hello, here is a little bit about my son Ramanathan.He took B.Tech in Production and Industrial Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala with distinction. He also completed MBA from IIM Mumbai. He is working with TVS Group in their SACL Division. As parents, we have taught our son to respect others and live life with a positive & progressive outlook. We hope to find an understanding partner for him with whom he would have a happy life. Ramanathan is jovial, caring, responsible and values relationships.
Hey, welcome to my profile! I have created this for myself with inputs from my Mom. That should tell you something about me and my family. We are a nuclear family with traditional values and practical outlook.
How do I describe myself? - I am a realistic person who believes in having goals in life and working towards it. I prefer being calm and level-headed instead of reacting immediately as that�s brings in more favorable outcomes. I have simplistic needs and live by the principle of being content. It doesn�t mean I am not ambitious but I try to strike balance between the two. I am passionate about new ideas and very receptive to other's views.
I have grown up in such a way that I learnt handling family responsibilities pretty soon, so I am not shy of doing household chores. Professionally, I am a consultant (Logistics & Supply-chain) with a US-based consulting firm. I predominantly work from home in Chennai with periodic visits to the office in Mumbai.
My Interests: Love reading books, especially business, Fiction, Psychology. Understanding people & their minds always fascinates me, so Psychology is a close one to my heart. I am learning French as I like to learn new stuff. Gardening interests me and I have a terrace garden.

I was born and grew up in the beautiful city of Madras, where I lived until I was about 20. I completed my schooling from Chennai- had a happy childhood/schooling- participated in a lot of extracurricular activities (largely linked to public speaking). Then, went to do my engineering at SRM, Chennai- Post that i wanted to study further and gave a shot at MBA and was fortunate to get admitted into IIM Kozhikode. These were amongst the two most transformative years of my life- I loved studying business. Found some great friends, explored the world on foreign exchange, and learnt to unlearn a lot of my long held beliefs. My first job was at Unilever- they have an outstanding leadership training program, and the first few years were incredibly transformative for me- travelling across the rural hinterlands of India, it gave me a lot of exposure to the real India. I continue to work at Unilever, and have been fortunate to do a variety of roles that have taken me from the small, thatched huts of Bihar to the glitzy skyscrapers of Bangkok. I have a brother who runs his own startup based out of the US, and my loving parents stay in Chennai. I currently work out of Mumbai, but shuttle frequently between Chennai and Mumbai. I love to read widely on a variety of topics- I am a believer in being intellectually curious. I love movies of all shapes and sizes, and think cinema is a magical experience. I enjoy spending time with my friends-. I enjoy fitness related activities, and actively cycle/gym to keep my physical health intact.

I have completed my MBA and CPA from the US and recently relocated to Toronto as a Canadian PR holder. Prior to this, I was in the US for 8 years and spent my time between Dallas and Minneapolis.
